This is my tumblr…enjoy.Tumblr (3.0; @mstiffanydenise)http://www.tiffanydenise.com/<a href="http://www.livestrong.com/article/456921-why-cant-you-do-yoga-on-your-period/">Yoga During Your Menstrual Cycle?</a>: <p>I recently started my yoga practices again and I must say, yoga is the best… I was wondering once my cycle started and I felt alittle ‘flushed’ if doing an inversion might be helpful.  I usually listen to my instincts.  I swear ‘they’ have never failed me.  I just figured let me fire up my chi area and get things circulating correctly.  I did the inversion and poof! the ‘flustered feeling’ was gone.  After that I said let me do some research and see what has been said about this.  </p> <p>Here is an interesting article.  While I do think there may be some validity to avoiding inversions during your cycle, I would also like to add that #1 over doing anything can be an issue, #2 every woman is different and must learn the lanquage of her body and how to listen to what it’s instructing her to do.  </p> <p>With that said, I certainly don’t plan to over do anything that may cause me any harm.
